It's difficult to put into words the spirit of Roy Waugh in just a few words. To call him a vocalist hardly scratches the surface of the man behind the music. For over 25 years, Roy has captivated audiences across the United States with this commanding yet tender tenor voice, his natural charisma, and his ability to inspire hope through story and song.

 

From an early age, Roy's gift was nurtured by his mother, Debbie-born deaf, yet his most loyal supporter who told him he would one day sing before millions and that kings and queens would know his name. Though she never heard a single note, she fueled his belief that anything is possible, if you just believe.

​​Roy's journey had been marked by resilience. Once an Olympic gymnastics hopeful, a devastating spinal injury nearly left him unable to walk. Yet, through years of surgeries and rehabilitation, he refused to accept defeat. His comeback became the foundation of his life message: with faith, determination, and courage, every obstacle can be overcome.

Over the years, Roy has achieved a wide body recognition including:

  • Being honored as Best International Indie Author and Best Breakout Author for 2025 for his groundbreaking debut, The Manifestation Frequency: Hidden Secrets Revealed to Awaken the Power Within.

  • Roy's Book receiving a prestigious 5-Star Rating from Readers' Favorite, affirming its power to inspire and uplift.

​

  • Serving as Opening Act and Celebrity Presenter for the Mid-West Emmy Awards.

​

  • Winning the Grand Prize in New Mexico's Giant Star, the stat's version of American Idol, sponsored by then-governor Bill Richardson.

  • Being named Best Male Vocalist at the International Christian Artists Competition, chosen from nearly 4,500 competitors worldwide.

Roy has starred as King David in the national touring production of David: A Man After God's Own Heart, performed on countless television and radio programs, and shared the stage with world-renowned artists. Today, he brings his gifts to keynote speaking and concert events, blending science, spirituality, and artistry in to unforgettable experiences that uplift and transform.

Beyond the stage, Roy lends his voice and energy to causes close to his heart, generously supporting organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign, ALS Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, World Vision, and many more.
